Capabilities

Everything we build, run and stand behind

Ten practices that cover an estate end to end — from the socket in the wall to the dashboard in the boardroom.

Most engagements begin with one of these and grow. Nothing here is contingent on buying the rest.

What this page covers

Ten practices, built to be bought one at a time

An IT estate is rarely replaced in one go. It is inherited, patched, outgrown and inherited again. So Karpexa is organised as ten separate practices rather than a single bundled offer — hardware and data centre work, public cloud, day-to-day operations, security, data and reporting, the end-user environment, business applications, engineering talent, hardware maintenance, and print and device lifecycle.

Each practice has its own engineers, its own scope document and its own commercial terms. You can hand us one problem and keep the rest of your estate exactly where it is. Nothing on this page requires you to buy anything else on this page.

What connects them is the delivery discipline rather than the product catalogue. The same engineers who design a system are the ones who run it afterwards. Capacity, cost and recovery targets go in writing before build starts. Documentation, credentials and configuration stay yours throughout, so moving a practice back in-house or to another firm is a handover rather than a hostage negotiation.

We work with mid-sized organisations and India-based capability centres from our base in Bengaluru, with on-site delivery across the country. Jump to any practice below, or describe the symptom — the audit finding, the slow application, the bill that keeps climbing — and we will point at the one that actually addresses it.

01 / 10 — Compute, network & devices

IT Infrastructure

The floor everything else stands on.

Discuss this

Most infrastructure grows by accident — a switch added here, storage bolted on there, laptops bought in three different years from four different vendors. It works, until throughput, warranty or floor space runs out at exactly the wrong moment. We design your compute, storage, network and end-user estate as a single topology with a known capacity ceiling and a known refresh cycle, so growth is a planned decision rather than an emergency purchase order.

Data centre & server rooms

Rack layout, power envelope, cooling headroom, structured cabling and clean labelling — built so the next engineer can read the room.

Compute & storage

Server, hyper-converged and storage sizing matched to real IOPS and growth curves rather than a vendor configurator default.

Networking & Wi-Fi

Switching, routing, SD-WAN and wireless coverage engineered for density — the meeting room that seats forty behaves like it.

End-user computing

Laptops, desktops and workstations standardised into two or three build tiers, imaged and shipped ready to log in.

Audio-visual & meeting rooms

Rooms that join a call in one tap — displays, codecs, mics and acoustics specified together, not bought separately.

Apple & mixed-fleet estates

macOS, iOS, Windows and Android coexisting under one enrolment and one support path.

Enterprise mobility

Rugged handhelds, tablets and scanners for field, warehouse and shop-floor teams, provisioned in bulk.

Hardware logistics

Procurement, staging, asset tagging, warehousing and nationwide dispatch, with serial-level records from day one.

Where we deliver

Infrastructure work is physical, so proximity matters. Our engineers are based in Bengaluru and reach most of the city — HSR Layout, Koramangala, Whitefield, Electronic City, Outer Ring Road — within the working day for surveys, commissioning and cutover windows. Data centre and multi-site builds run across India from the same team.

Racking, cabling and commissioning are done on site, not subcontracted.

Questions

Yes. We audit what you own, keep whatever still has useful life and warranty cover, and design the new topology around it. Replacing working kit for the sake of a neater invoice is not something we do.

No. We are happy to design and implement while you procure directly. Where we do supply, we show you the line-item pricing rather than a bundled figure.

Typically a scheduled window outside business hours, with the previous configuration retained and reversible. For multi-site estates we cut over one site at a time so any surprise is contained.

We handle secure data wiping, certified e-waste disposal and, where there is residual value, buy-back — and you get the certificates for your compliance file.

02 / 10 — Public cloud & migration

Cloud

Elastic where it pays. Disciplined where it counts.

Discuss this

A cloud account opened in a hurry becomes an expensive habit. Untagged resources, over-provisioned instances, three people with root and a bill nobody can explain line by line. We build the landing zone first — identity, network boundaries, tagging, guardrails and budget alerts — then move workloads into it in an order that keeps the risky ones last. The result is an environment where cost, access and blast radius are all deliberate choices.

Google Cloud

Project hierarchy, org policies, VPC design and GKE workloads built to Google’s well-architected patterns.

Amazon Web Services

Multi-account structures with Control Tower guardrails, so isolation between teams is enforced rather than agreed.

Microsoft Azure

Subscription and management-group design aligned to your Entra tenancy and existing licence entitlements.

Landing zone design

The foundation layer — identity, network segmentation, logging, key management and naming conventions, defined before workload one.

Migration & modernisation

Wave-planned moves with a documented rollback for each application, from straight rehosting to container re-platforming.

FinOps & cost governance

Showback by team, commitment and reservation strategy, anomaly alerting and quarterly right-sizing reviews.

Resilience & recovery

Backup policy, replication tiers and tested recovery objectives — a DR plan that has actually been rehearsed.

Hybrid & multi-cloud

Connectivity, identity federation and workload placement when part of the estate stays on your own floor.

Where we deliver

Cloud work is largely remote, but migrations go better when the cutover conversations happen in a room. We run discovery and go-live planning on site for clients in Bengaluru — HSR Layout, Koramangala, Whitefield, Electronic City — and remotely for the rest of India.

Assessment workshops on site in Bengaluru; migration and run-state delivered remotely.

Questions

It depends on where your data already sits, what your team can support, and your licensing position. We run a short workload-fit assessment and give you the comparison with the reasoning, rather than a conclusion.

Most workloads move with a short, scheduled cutover and several rehearsals beforehand. Anything that genuinely cannot pause gets a replication-and-switch approach so downtime is measured in minutes.

Usually a meaningful amount, yes. Scheduling non-production, right-sizing over-provisioned instances and buying appropriate commitments are the fastest wins and require no application changes.

No, and you often should not. Latency-sensitive, licence-locked or heavily regulated workloads frequently belong on your own infrastructure. We design for the split rather than pretending it does not exist.

03 / 10 — Service desk & operations

Managed IT Services

Someone is awake, watching, and accountable.

Discuss this

Small internal teams do not fail because they lack skill. They fail because two people cannot cover a twenty-four hour clock, take leave, and still find time for the projects they were hired for. We take the running of it — the queue, the monitoring, the patch calendar, the 3am page — and give it structure: named owners, published response times, and a monthly report that shows what actually happened rather than what was promised.

Service desk

A staffed first line across phone, email, chat and portal, with published response targets and a real escalation ladder behind it.

24×7 monitoring & alerting

Thresholds tuned to your environment so alerts mean something — noise gets suppressed, genuine degradation gets a human.

Server & data centre operations

Patching windows, capacity watch, backup verification and change control on your core systems.

Network operations

Link health, failover testing, configuration backups and firmware currency across switching, firewalls and SD-WAN.

Application operations

Day-to-day care of business applications — job monitoring, integration checks, release support and vendor liaison.

Remote & on-site engineering

Remote hands for the routine, and a scheduled or resident engineer where physical presence is genuinely needed.

Change & problem management

Structured change approval and root-cause work, so the same incident stops recurring on a monthly cycle.

Service reporting & reviews

Monthly performance pack and a quarterly review that sets the improvement backlog for the next quarter.

Where we deliver

The service desk runs remotely, but someone has to be able to walk to the rack. We hold on-site response capability across Bengaluru — HSR Layout, Koramangala, Whitefield, Electronic City, Outer Ring Road — with committed arrival times written into the contract. Remote operations cover client sites elsewhere in India.

On-site response across Bengaluru; remote operations nationwide.

Questions

Rarely, and we do not pitch it that way. The usual shape is that we take the repetitive and out-of-hours load while your internal people move on to work that needs business context.

Acknowledgement and restoration targets by severity, with monthly reporting against them and agreed service credits if we miss. The targets are set with you during transition, not handed down.

Four to eight weeks for a typical mid-size estate. Longer if documentation is thin, because we would rather spend that time discovering than assuming.

Yes. Many clients start with out-of-hours cover or monitoring only, then extend once the working relationship is proven.

04 / 10 — Risk, defence & assurance

Cyber Security

Reduce what an attacker can reach, and how long they can stay.

Discuss this

Most breached organisations owned a firewall and an antivirus licence. What they lacked was coverage — an identity nobody could bypass, a laptop that could be isolated in seconds, logs that reached somewhere an intruder could not delete. We assess your posture against a recognised control framework, close the gaps in order of exposure, and leave you with evidence a regulator or a customer’s security questionnaire will accept.

Identity & access management

Single sign-on, conditional access, privileged access controls and joiner-mover-leaver automation so accounts die when people leave.

Endpoint detection & response

Behavioural detection on every device with the ability to isolate a compromised machine from the network in one action.

Network & perimeter security

Next-generation firewalls, segmentation, zero-trust access and secure web gateways replacing flat internal networks.

Email & collaboration defence

Phishing, impersonation and payload controls across mail, chat and file sharing — the routes people actually get caught by.

Data protection & DLP

Classification, encryption at rest and in transit, and rules that stop sensitive files leaving through the obvious doors.

Cloud security posture

Continuous configuration assessment across your cloud accounts, catching the public bucket before someone else does.

OT & industrial security

Segmentation and passive monitoring for plant networks where patching windows are measured in years.

Vulnerability & patch management

Scheduled scanning, risk-ranked remediation and a patch compliance figure you can quote with confidence.

Assessment & compliance readiness

Gap analysis, penetration test coordination and the evidence pack for ISO 27001, SOC 2 or customer audits.

Where we deliver

Assessments and remediation run remotely; interviews, physical controls review and audit walkthroughs are done on site. We cover Bengaluru directly — HSR Layout, Koramangala, Whitefield, Electronic City — and travel for multi-site assessments across India.

On-site assessment in Bengaluru; remote monitoring and remediation nationwide.

Questions

Identity, almost always. Enforced multi-factor authentication and clean privileged access remove the largest share of realistic attack paths for the least money. Endpoint detection comes next.

We provide managed detection and response with a 24×7 escalation path, working with the platform that fits your estate rather than insisting on our own stack.

Containment first, evidence preservation second, eradication third, then a written post-incident review. If you are under attack right now, call us before reading further.

Done properly, most people notice single sign-on making life easier and little else. Where a control genuinely adds friction, we say so upfront and let you weigh it.

05 / 10 — Pipelines & reporting

Data & Analytics

One number, one definition, one source.

Discuss this

When finance and sales bring different revenue figures to the same meeting, the tool is rarely at fault. Two teams are calculating the same word differently, from two extracts, on two days. We fix the layer underneath first — reliable pipelines and a governed model where every metric has one written definition and traceable lineage — and only then build the dashboards. That is why the dashboards survive past the launch demo.

Data strategy & metric design

Working backwards from the decisions you need to make to the small set of measures that actually inform them.

Warehouse & lakehouse builds

A modelled central store on BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks or Fabric, structured for querying rather than storage alone.

Pipelines & integration

Scheduled, monitored ingestion from ERP, CRM, spreadsheets and operational systems, with failures that alert instead of going quiet.

Semantic & governance layer

Every metric defined once, with an owner, a formula and lineage back to source — the end of duelling spreadsheets.

Dashboards & self-service BI

Power BI, Tableau or Looker builds designed around a role’s daily question, not around every field available.

Operational & embedded reporting

Reporting placed inside the workflow — in the app, the inbox or the chat channel where the decision is taken.

Forecasting & advanced analytics

Demand, churn and capacity models, deployed only where a decision genuinely changes as a result.

AI-assisted analysis

Natural-language querying and summarisation grounded in your governed model, so answers stay traceable.

Where we deliver

Data work lives or dies on access to the people who understand the numbers. We run requirement sessions on site with Bengaluru clients — HSR Layout, Koramangala, Whitefield, Electronic City — and deliver builds remotely for organisations across India.

Requirements and review sessions on site in Bengaluru; build and run remote.

Questions

Not always. If your data lives in one or two systems and volumes are modest, direct connections can carry you a long way. We recommend a warehouse when the joins across systems become the bottleneck.

Usually the one your team is closest to and already licensed for. Tool choice matters far less than the model beneath it — a good model works in any of them.

The first working dashboard on real data typically lands in four to six weeks. We deliberately scope a narrow first slice so value arrives before enthusiasm fades.

Yes, and most engagements start there. Spreadsheets are usually where the real business logic is hiding — we extract it, formalise it and retire the file.

06 / 10 — Collaboration & endpoints

Digital Workspace

Day one should take ten minutes, not ten emails.

Discuss this

Every person you hire spends their entire working life inside mail, chat, documents and whatever device you handed them. When that stack is stitched together from three consoles and a checklist in someone’s notes, the cost shows up as slow onboarding, orphaned accounts and licences billed for people who left a year ago. We join identity, collaboration and device management into one enrolment path — so joining, moving and leaving are three buttons rather than three days.

Google Workspace

Deployment, domain and organisational-unit design, sharing policy and admin hardening as a licensed partner.

Microsoft 365

Tenant configuration, Teams and SharePoint structure, and licence-tier mapping to how each role actually works.

Migration between platforms

Mail, drive, calendar and permissions moved with history intact and a co-existence window so nothing is stranded.

Identity & directory

A single directory behind every application, with single sign-on and automated joiner-mover-leaver provisioning.

Unified endpoint management

Windows, macOS, iOS and Android under one enrolment — policy, compliance and remote wipe from one console.

Zero-touch onboarding

Device ships direct to the employee, enrols itself on first boot and arrives configured with their apps and access.

Collaboration architecture

A shared-drive and channel structure with retention rules, designed before the sprawl rather than after it.

Licence optimisation

Quarterly review of assignment and tier against real usage, reclaiming what is dormant and downgrading what is over-specified.

Where we deliver

Device work needs hands. We handle imaging, deployment, onboarding and refresh cycles on site across Bengaluru — HSR Layout, Koramangala, Whitefield, Electronic City, Outer Ring Road — and coordinate courier-based device logistics for distributed teams elsewhere in India.

On-site device handling in Bengaluru; logistics-based support nationwide.

Questions

Google tends to suit collaboration-heavy and cloud-native teams; Microsoft suits organisations with deep Office file dependencies, Windows estates or specific compliance tooling. We assess against how your teams work rather than defaulting.

No. Mail, calendar, contacts and drive content move with folder structure and permissions preserved, and we run a co-existence period so both platforms work during the transition.

Yes, through a managed profile that separates work data from personal. Company data can be wiped independently without touching anything of theirs.

For under two hundred users, typically three to five weeks including preparation and a co-existence window. Complex shared-mailbox and permission estates extend that.

07 / 10 — Business systems & integration

ERP & Business Applications

Software should follow the process, not fight it.

Discuss this

An order arrives in one system, gets keyed into a second for production, and is invoiced from a third — with a spreadsheet quietly reconciling all three. Every handoff is a place where time is lost and a number goes wrong. We map the process end to end, choose or configure the platform that fits it, and connect the systems so data moves once. The measure of success is how much manual re-entry disappears.

Platform selection

Structured evaluation against your actual process, with a scored comparison and a total cost view over five years — not a demo beauty contest.

ERP implementation

Finance, inventory, procurement and manufacturing modules configured, with data migrated and reconciled before go-live.

CRM & sales operations

Pipeline stages, quoting and after-sales service modelled the way your team sells rather than the way the template assumes.

Integration & middleware

APIs and event flows connecting ERP, CRM, e-commerce, logistics and banking so data is entered once and travels.

Workflow automation

Approvals, document routing and exception handling automated — the small daily frictions that quietly consume hours.

Custom modules & extensions

Purpose-built where the standard product genuinely does not fit, kept deliberately thin so upgrades stay possible.

Master data management

One customer record, one item master, clear ownership and validation rules that stop duplicates being created.

Application support & enhancement

Ongoing care after go-live — user support, release testing, and a prioritised backlog of improvements.

Where we deliver

ERP programmes need people in the building during design and user acceptance. We work on site with Bengaluru clients — HSR Layout, Koramangala, Whitefield, Electronic City — and travel to plant and branch locations across India for rollout and training.

Design and UAT on site in Bengaluru; rollout travel across India.

Questions

By scoring platforms against your documented process, integration needs and five-year cost — including implementation, licences and the internal time nobody budgets for. We publish the scoring so the decision is yours, with reasoning attached.

Frequently. We assess configuration quality, data integrity and where trust broke down, then propose either a reset of scope or a completion plan. Sometimes the honest advice is to stop.

Some will, and that is usually healthy. We distinguish between genuinely differentiating practices worth preserving and habits that exist because an old system demanded them.

A focused mid-size ERP rollout runs three to six months from process mapping to pilot go-live. Multi-entity or manufacturing-heavy scopes run longer, which we phase rather than compress.

08 / 10 — Engineers & capacity

Tech Talent

Capacity when the roadmap will not wait for a hiring cycle.

Discuss this

A funded project waiting ninety days for a cloud engineer costs far more than the salary being saved. But hiring permanently for a nine-month workload is its own mistake — and one you have to unwind later. We supply engineers who are already vetted and already working in the technologies you need, on the commercial shape that fits the work: a single specialist, a contract-to-hire trial, or a managed pod with delivery accountability sitting on our side.

Contract engineering

Individual specialists embedded in your team on a defined term, reporting into your delivery structure.

Contract to hire

A working trial period before conversion, so both sides decide on evidence rather than an interview impression.

Managed delivery pods

A complete squad with a lead, where the outcome and the day-to-day management stay our responsibility.

Permanent search

Focused recruitment for senior and hard-to-fill technical roles, with a replacement guarantee period.

Volume ramp-up

Multiple aligned profiles onboarded together for a programme, a GCC build-out or a new delivery centre.

Payroll & compliance

Employment, statutory compliance, insurance and equipment handled for deployed staff — one invoice, no exposure.

Skills assessment

Independent technical evaluation of candidates or an existing team, with a written capability picture.

Learning & certification

Structured upskilling and certification pathways for your permanent engineers, funded and tracked.

Where we deliver

We recruit from the Bengaluru market and know it well — which teams pay what, who is genuinely available, which claimed skills survive a technical screen. Placements run across the city, including HSR Layout, Koramangala, Whitefield and Electronic City, with remote and hybrid placements arranged for clients elsewhere in India.

Bengaluru-focused sourcing; remote and hybrid placement across India.

Questions

Shortlists typically within ten working days. Start dates depend on notice periods — bench-available candidates can begin within two weeks, others run to thirty or sixty days.

Tell us early. We replace at our cost inside the agreed guarantee period, and we would far rather have that conversation in week three than in month four.

Yes, and we structure for it. Conversion terms are agreed upfront so there is no renegotiation at the moment you have decided you want to keep someone.

We do. Payroll, statutory compliance, insurance and equipment sit with us, and you receive a single invoice with no employment liability.

09 / 10 — Uptime & spares

Maintenance & AMC

The unglamorous work that keeps the lights on.

Discuss this

Maintenance contracts get bought on price and judged on the worst day of the year. What decides that day is unglamorous: whether a spare part is on a shelf within reach, whether an engineer is genuinely rostered for your city, and whether anyone visited before the failure. We build cover around your downtime cost — critical assets get standby units and tight response clocks, everything else gets sensible economics.

Comprehensive AMC

Labour and parts covered under one annual fee, so a bad month never turns into an unplanned capital request.

Labour-only contracts

Engineering cover where you hold your own spares inventory or maintain direct vendor parts arrangements.

On-site resident engineers

A dedicated technician stationed at your facility, full-time or on a fixed weekly schedule.

Preventive maintenance visits

Scheduled health checks — thermal, firmware, battery, filter and diagnostic — catching failures while they are still cheap.

Spares & standby pool

Critical parts and swap units held against your specific configurations, not a generic regional catalogue.

Multi-site coverage

One contract spanning branches, plants and warehouses, with response times set per location rather than averaged.

Warranty & lifecycle tracking

A live register of expiry dates and end-of-support milestones, reviewed with you before they arrive.

Data centre facility care

UPS, PDU, cooling and battery servicing on schedule, with load testing and capacity readings recorded.

Where we deliver

Response time is the entire product, so coverage is geographic. We hold committed on-site response across Bengaluru — HSR Layout, Koramangala, Whitefield, Electronic City, Outer Ring Road, Peenya — with spares held locally. Multi-site AMC across India is delivered through scheduled resident and visiting engineers.

Local spares holding and committed response times across Bengaluru.

Questions

Yes. We cover mixed-vendor estates, and much of our AMC work is on hardware bought years ago from someone else. We audit condition first and price on what we find.

Consumables, physical or liquid damage, and anything the manufacturer has declared end-of-support with no parts channel. We list exclusions plainly in the contract rather than in a footnote.

By asset count, age, criticality tier and site locations. You see the per-asset build-up, so trimming cover on low-impact equipment is a decision you can make with numbers.

They are scheduled with you, usually outside production hours or during planned windows, and each visit ends with a written condition report.

10 / 10 — Asset lifecycle & output

Managed Print & Device Lifecycle

Every asset accounted for, cradle to certificate.

Discuss this

Print and end-user devices are the last unmanaged spend in most organisations. Cartridges are bought locally, laptops are ordered ad hoc, and retired machines sit in a cupboard with their data still on them. We take the whole lifecycle — purchase, staging, deployment, support, recovery and certified disposal — onto one register with one cost per unit, so a category that has always been fuzzy finally has a number attached.

Managed print services

The whole fleet on one contract — hardware, consumables, servicing and support billed at an agreed cost per page.

Print fleet optimisation

Usage-based right-sizing that removes underused devices and places the rest where the volume actually is.

Secure & follow-me printing

Badge or PIN release at the device, ending the pile of unclaimed sensitive documents on the output tray.

Device procurement & staging

Sourcing, imaging, asset tagging and kitting, with machines shipped ready to use to office or home address.

Deployment & refresh programmes

Rolling replacement waves that keep the estate current without a disruptive fleet-wide swap.

Device as a service

Hardware, support and refresh as a single monthly per-seat figure, moving spend from capital to operating cost.

Asset tracking & recovery

A live register from purchase order to return, including collection from leavers and remote workers.

Secure disposal & buy-back

Certified data erasure, responsible e-waste recycling and residual value returned to you rather than absorbed.

Where we deliver

Print fleets need someone who can attend the device. We supply, service and meter-read across Bengaluru — HSR Layout, Koramangala, Whitefield, Electronic City, Outer Ring Road — and manage multi-city fleets across India through scheduled visits.

On-site device service across Bengaluru; multi-city fleet management in India.

Questions

From twelve months of actual volume and consumable spend, split by mono and colour. You see the baseline and the proposed rate side by side before signing anything.

No. Most engagements start by taking over the fleet you already own and retiring only the devices the usage data shows are redundant.

A per-serial erasure certificate to a recognised standard, plus the recycling documentation — the pack auditors and ISO assessors ask for.

Yes. We ship directly to home addresses, track the asset against the individual, and arrange courier collection when they leave or the device is refreshed.

How they combine

Separate practices, one delivery discipline

Combining two capabilities with us costs less coordination than buying them from two firms — the same engineers, ticket queue and monthly report cover both.

Start narrow

One capability, properly done

Most relationships begin with a single problem — a failing service desk, an audit finding, a migration that stalled. We solve that before proposing anything else.

Extend

Add without re-onboarding

Because your estate is already documented on our side, a second capability starts with context instead of another discovery exercise.

Consolidate

One agreement, one invoice

Capabilities can be merged onto a single contract with blended commercials, rather than accumulating as separate line items.

Exit

Leave whenever you like

Each capability can be withdrawn independently on notice, with its documentation, credentials and code handed back intact.

Our customers
